It is generally true, but there are variations, usually you can quickly adjust a factory handle with a rasp.

Small tooth Simonds one man saw
I bought a nice looking saw yesterday, it needs some work, I identified it by the red paint and the faded etch as definitely a Simonfs , but I cannot find a model that matches it.
Any ideas?

Great video! I learned alot the first time I watched it and learn more every time. He shows the trick for driving a fat wood pine wedge and I learned it from this film. I am making another handle, I snapped one off while driving wood wedges and pounding a hung up tree off a stump, I should have used...
