Anderson Raker Swage #2R

Anderson Raker Swage #2 R
I picked up several NOS Raker Swages this week. I’ve seen drawings, but never had any in my hands until now. I had to try one out right away. Place swage on tooth and hammer away until you get the desired swage. It has a knurled thumb screw you can adjust to measure the Raker clearance. This Raker, I swaged to .010 to the Pin, and I will file it to .012 finished. It’s a good tool for the filer that might have trouble hammering directly on the tip of a Raker. The R is for a right handed Swage and the L is a mirrored image of a R. These pictured are all R. It can be used on either Raker tip by just turning the tool to the opposite side of saw.

I 've not seen one of those before. Pretty cool tool for your collection! Let me know if you decide you don't need 3. ;)

Starling_Saw, Those are very nice. I would also be VERY interested in one if you decide that you have an extra one. I'm just starting to try and tune and sharpen a saw. These look like they sure would help a new guy out.

Thanks for sharing, Tom

I echo Tom's plea, Yves. At least post pictures or drawings. Thanks.
